The 4-13 New England Patriots have holes all over their roster but according to the latest mock draft from NFL Network’s Daniel Jeremiah, they’ll start with the offensive line.
Veteran quarterback Jacoby Brissett was sacked 18 times in eight appearances last season while rookie quarterback Drake Maye was dropped 34 times. That’s certainly better than the 68 sacks fellow rookie Caleb Williams took with the Bears, but clearly not good enough for a team looking to build around their next franchise quarterback.
Will Campbell is a 6-foot-6, 320-pound offensive tackle from LSU and a player Jeremiah calls a ”safe, steady” option for the Patriots with the fourth-overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. The Louisiana native appeared in 37 games as a Tiger, starting all 12 games at left tackle in 2024, and had a streak of 24 straight games without allowing a sack before giving up one against Florida last season.
