The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have quietly put together a strong 2024 NFL season and, depending on the results of Week 18, are in line to win another NFC South title.
Should the Buccaneers win the division again, they’ll make the playoffs for the fifth consecutive season, though this year is arguably the most impressive one.
Tampa Bay got a career year from Baker Mayfield, who has been one of the best quarterbacks during the 2024 NFL season, a testament to the job offensive coordinator Liam Coen has done.
Coen got a chance to work with Mayfield briefly when they were with the Los Angeles Rams, and now the duo has the Buccaneers in position to make the postseason.
This offseason, Coen should be a popular name in the hiring cycle for teams looking to revamp their offense.
However, it seems that Coen isn’t the only Tampa Bay personnel who could leave the organization.
Peter Schrager also reported that assistant general manager Mike Greenberg has popped up on teams’ radars via the NFL on FOX.
“In OC Liam Coen and Assistant GM Mike Greenberg, the Buccaneers could be in danger of losing two rising stars this off-season.”

Schrager previously reported on Coen’s viability as a head coaching candidate, but the Greenberg news is interesting as he’s been with the Buccaneers for decades.
Coen and Greenberg would be huge losses for the Tampa Bay franchise, which has been one of the league’s most consistent teams in recent years.
It will be interesting to see if the organization can entice them to stay or if they explore opportunities elsewhere.
