The Baltimore Ravens have been knocking on the door of a Super Bowl appearance for a while now.
This season, with Lamar Jackson playing this way, they might even be the team to beat in the AFC.
The reigning NFL MVP is playing the best football of his career, a feat recognized by one of the game’s all-time greats.

The legendary quarterback also discussed Jackson’s relationship with offensive coordinator Todd Monken and how it has helped him elevate his game.
Manning argued that you could tell that Monken is calling plays that Jackson likes.
He also believes that while Jackson can still make defenders miss with his legs, his passes have been much better.
Jackson’s scrambling skills were never doubted, but his timing, accuracy and arm strength were often subjects of debate.
Since Monken took over the offense, Jackson has looked much more comfortable in the pocket, which has helped him become the dual-threat superstar he is today.
However, none of that will matter unless he also elevates his game in the playoffs, starting against the Pittsburgh Steelers in the wild-card round.
That has been a pending issue with Jackson for years, which could make or break the entire narrative around him.
