Bayern Munich returns from the Winterpause with another match up against a Red Bull team. This time it’s on the road at Austrian club RB Salzburg in a tune-up friendly ahead of the Bundesliga restart on Saturday, when Bayern travels to face Borussia Mönchengladbach.
When we last left Vincent Kompany and friends, the Bavarians were taking RB Leipzig to the woodshed. This time, different Red Bull but same great taste. The Bavarians emptied out their bench and collected six goals in a highly entertaining shutout.
