Coach Sherrone Moore said that the injury is “less serious than we thought,” per TheMichiganInsider. Backup quarterback Jack Tuttle, meanwhile, experienced “minor setbacks” in his recovery from an offseason ailment.
USC looks to be at full strength following its early bye week. Coach Lincoln Riley said, via the Los Angeles Times, that linebacker Mason Cobb and cornerback Jaylin Smith will play after missing the Week 2 win over Utah State.
