The Los Angeles Rams are arguably one of the most improbable division winners of the 2024 NFL season as they started 1-4 before going on a run following their bye week.
Not only did the Rams have close to a zero percent chance of winning the division earlier in the year, but making the playoffs at all was going to be a tough challenge.
However, head coach Sean McVay and his staff were able to right the ship, and Los Angeles clinched the NFC West with a Week 17 win against the Arizona Cardinals and some other matchups that went their way.
Now, the Rams have an opportunity to rest some players during their regular season finale against the Seattle Seahawks.
McVay previously announced that several starters would be sitting out, opening up room for backups to get a shot to compete.
Prior to the game against Seattle, L.A. announced some roster moves.
“Activated, from Practice Squad (Standard Elevation) OL A.J. Arcuri, OLB Keir Thomas,” the Rams wrote on X.

Arcuri and Thomas likely will see action at some point against the Seahawks as McVay also hinted that other starters won’t play their usual allotment of snaps.
Though the Rams’ seed in the NFC remains undecided, it’s more important that they get to the postseason healthy.
A healthy Rams squad is a team no one wants to see in the playoffs.
