The Los Angeles Rams are preparing for a crucial playoff battle against the Philadelphia Eagles this Sunday.
After watching Saquon Barkley break free for devastating 70- and 72-yard touchdown runs in their previous 37-20 loss to the Eagles on November 24, the Rams’ defense is determined to prevent a repeat performance.
In a strategic move to bolster their defensive lineup, the Rams made key roster adjustments on Thursday.
Linebacker Troy Reeder and defensive end Larrell Murchison have been activated from injured reserve, signaling the team’s commitment to strengthening their defense for this crucial matchup.

Reeder’s season showed early promise with six straight starts before a hamstring injury sidelined him.
While Christian Rozeboom and Omar Speights stepped in during his absence, neither managed to deliver the defensive impact the team needed.
The Rams have since relied heavily on their young, dynamic pass rush to compensate for coverage gaps.
Murchison’s journey this season has been equally challenging. An arm injury during final roster cuts initially kept him off the field.
When he finally returned to practice in October, a broken foot immediately derailed his comeback. Now, both players are back just as the playoffs intensify.
The timing of their return coincides with an impressive defensive streak for the Rams.
Apart from allowing 30 points to the Seattle Seahawks in Week 18, they’ve been nearly impenetrable, holding their previous four opponents to a mere 8.25 points on average, with none reaching double digits.
As Reeder and Murchison return to practice, the coaching staff faces important decisions about their roles.
Reeder appears likely to make an immediate impact, having played 94% of defensive snaps when healthy and filling a position where the team currently has only three active players.
