With college football’s spring semester drop-add dates ending, most of the transfer portal’s top players in the 2024 cycle announced their decisions and enrolled at new schools. However, a few high-impact options in remain in the updated best-available top 10.
There is not a single player ranked inside the top 50 who is uncommitted with the start of spring practice a few weeks away. Another portal window comes later this spring as well. Several players in recent days entered the portal, but then chosen to withdraw, including Washington’s Peyton Walters. Coaching changes often make players look in another direction before they meet with the new staff and discuss their fit.
Teams, for the most part, are putting together their two-deeps ahead of spring practice and at this point, only look for immediate depth options are potential fill-ins.
