Marvin Harrison Jr. headlines a deep group of wide receiver talent that entered the 2024 NFL Draft this offseason but don’t expect a shortage of elite pass-catching talent on college football fields next fall. Two of the SEC’s five leading receivers from 2023 are back next fall and make Late Kick host Josh Pate’s list of the five best returning wide receivers for the 2024 season.
With analysis from Pate, these rankings take into account previous production, playmaking ability and the quarterback and offensive staff around each receiver. Three names on this list are entering their third years on campus, while the other two are poised for breakout senior and fifth-year seasons.
Other well-known wideouts who narrowly missed this ranking include Oregon’s Tez Johnson, Miami’s Xavier Restrepo, Stanford’s Elic Ayomanor and Oklahoma State’s Brennan Presley, among others.
