Under Armour Thursday: Gonzaga commit Davis Fogle, four-stars Jordan Scott, Shon Abaev and more shine
On Thursday at the Under Armour event in Lakepoint Sports Complex in Emerson, GA., recent Gonzaga commitment Davis Fogle shined in front of the Bulldogs’ staff.
“Fogle looked the part of one of the nation’s top perimeter players during an afternoon game,” Eric Bossi wrote. “Blessed with length and plus athleticism, Fogle has always impressed with his ability to attack the rim and make plays for others on the bounce. He did some of that early before getting hot with his jumper from deep as the game wore on.
Omari Witherspoon is a name to start to get to know, Bossi explained. “The 2025 prospect already played his way into contention for the national top-150, and if he keeps this type of play up, he now could be looking to work his way into four-star status.”
On Thursday, Witherspoon showed some real versatility. He handled the ball, made plays for others, was a strong scorer at the rim and hit enough jumpers to keep defenders honest.
His recruitment is about to blow up. “It’s been crazy,” Witherspoon told 247Sports on Thursday in Georgia. “Just in the past few weeks I’ve had new offers from Butler, Maryland, Vanderbilt, Virginia Tech, West Virginia and Xavier. There are others too.”
