According to a report from Sky Sport journalist Florian Plettenberg, Bayern Munich submitted another bid to FC Köln for goalkeeper Jonas Urbig, but was — again — rejected:
Excl | FC Bayern have submitted a second official offer to 1. FC Köln for Jonas #Urbig!
Bayern have increased their fixed transfer fee, which was previously at 5 million euros, now offering more.
However, Köln’s Managing Director, Christian Keller, has also rejected this second offer as #Effzeh are not satisfied yet. But Bayern won’t pay any price. Negotiations are ongoing.
If true, this shows Bayern Munich persistence in pursuing the player. Bayern Munich seems to be very serious about this move, so it will not be shocking for them to go back at least one more time with another proposal.
