Eni, Renault Group, and BWT Alpine Formula One Team will collaborate on bio-gasoline testing for racing.
Eni and Renault Group have announced a landmark agreement to explore future opportunities for collaboration in the decarbonisation of the transport sector. This partnership will leverage the strengths of both companies in developing sustainable solutions across various mobility sectors, with a key focus on biofuels and energy-efficient technologies.
Under the terms of the agreement, Eni and Renault Group will identify and develop joint business initiatives in areas such as electric mobility infrastructure, smart mobility services, and energy supply solutions that facilitate the transition to a lower-carbon future. One of the first tangible outcomes of this collaboration is the acquisition of Renault vehicles by Enjoy, Enilive’s car-sharing service, enhancing urban mobility with environmentally friendly solutions.
Furthermore, BWT Alpine Formula One Team and Eni are pleased to announce Eni’s return to the FIA Formula 1 World Championship as the team’s Official Energy and Fuel Partner under a multi-year agreement. This renewed partnership marks a significant step forward in the development and testing of bio-gasoline in one of the most technologically demanding motorsport environments.

A Historic Return to Formula 1
The announcement marks Eni’s return to an Enstone-affiliated team for the first time since its partnership with Benetton in 2000. As a Premium Partner of BWT Alpine Formula One Team, Eni will activate its Enilive brand at select races throughout the 24-race calendar.
Eni branding will feature prominently on the A525, Alpine’s 2025 Formula 1 challenger, as well as on the race overalls and helmets of the team’s drivers, who will be officially unveiled at the F175 Launch Event at the O2 Arena, London, on February 18. The partnership will also extend to the pit-stop crew and various team operations, reinforcing Eni’s presence throughout Alpine’s ecosystem.
