According to a report from Italian journalist Gianluca DiMarzio (as captured by @iMiaSanMia), Bayern Munich is an “admirer” of Paris Saint-Germain attacker Randal Kolo Muani.
The former Eintracht Frankfurt scorer will not be easy to get, though. AC Milan, Juventus, and “some Premier League clubs” are also in the mix:
Bayern are one of the ‘admirers’ of Randal Kolo Muani, in addition to Milan, Juventus and some Premier League clubs. The striker is not in Luis Enrique’s plans and is set to leave PSG on loan in January. However, the obstacle is that Kolo Muani has a high salary (around €4m net for the next 6 months) and PSG have no intention of covering a part of it.
Those “Premier League clubs” are rumored to be Arsenal FC, Manchester United, and Tottenham Hotspur per various reports floating around. Before anyone gets to excited — especially regarding a salary that Bayern Munich could easily afford — Kolo Muani’s scoring prowess just has not been there for PSG this season. The 26-year-old has two goals and one assist in 14 games across all competitions this season. Moreover, Kolo Muani only has 12 goals and six assists in 44 games across all competitions in 2023/24 as well.
That production rate might not cut it for someone who would be a backup to Bayern Munich scoring machine Harry Kane. Moreover, Kolo Muani’s positional flexibility is not all that attractive either. He has played just 32 games of 179 total games in his career as winger.
