The teenage duo of Adam Aznou and Mathys Tel are finding game time hard to come by at Bayern Munich. Between the two of them, they have only combined for three starts in all competitions, spending most of Bayern’s games firmly rooted to the bench. This despite the common consensus that young players desperately need playing time in order to develop.
Ergo, it is that desire to see the two play games and develop further that sees the Bavarians mull over some different options, via @georg_holzner:
A winter loan is being considered for Mathys Tel and Adam Aznou. Both players prefer to stay at Bayern. As things stand, there are currently no new winter signings.
Though Aznou earned his spot in the squad from Bayern II and therefore was an unexpected addition that will not need to be replaced, it would certainly be surprising if Bayern did not decide to find a temporary replacement for Mathys Tel if the Frenchman truly were to leave the club.
