According to a report from Sport Bild’s Christian Falk and Tobi Altschäffl (as captured by @iMiaSanMia), Bayern Munich is set to move on center-back Eric Dier this summer.
With that, Bayern munich could turns its focus back to Bayer Leverkusen center-back Jonathan Tah to fill the void on the roster:
Eric Dier is set to leave Bayern in the summer. The clear tendency of the club is not to offer him a new deal. Bayern will be looking to replace him with a ‘top center-back’ who can be starting XI material. Jonathan Tah is still a topic for the club.
Dier, who has performed admirably this season and was just named to WhoScored.com’s Bundesliga Team of the Month, will be the odd-man out despite solid showings. It is curious, especially given his relatively low cost and popularity in the locker room, but the roster refresh could be taking shape and Dier might be the first victim of the purge.
