Bayern Munich youngster Arijon Ibrahimović is buried deep on the team’s bench — to no fault of his own.
Competing for playing time with attackers like Harry Kane, Jamal Musiala, Michael Olise, Serge Gnabry, Kingsley Coman, and Mathys Tel among others, Ibrahimović just has not found a way to break through.
Ibrahimović has played on 16 minutes in three first team appearances. Per GianlucaDiMarzio.com journalist Luca Bendoni, the 19-year-old could be looking at another loan spell after spending last season with Frosinone (via @iMiaSanMia):
With Mathys Tel set to stay at the club, Bayern are planning to send Arijon Ibrahimović out on loan this month.
Ibrahimović needs playing time for his development, but Bayern Munich also needs to get a better picture of what he can eventually be — and the only way to do that is with more exposure to first team football on a game-by-game basis.
