Recent reports indicate that Bayern Munich midfielder Leon Goretzka will not move on from the club and will play through the end of his contract after the 2025/26 season.
However, if Goretzka changes his mind, Galatasaray is willing to bring him in on loan — and could spend another week working on a deal since the Turkish transfer window ends on February 11th per Fanatik (via @iMiaSanMia):
Galatasaray are interested in signing Leon Goretzka on loan. Bayern, meanwhile, would be willing to let go of the midfielder but only on a permanent deal and are demanding a double-digit million fee. The window in Türkiye is open until February 11.
As has been well-documented, Goretzka is not really willing to move at the moment — and probably less so after the nice run of play he had before sustaining a muscular injury vs. SC Freiburg.
For now, we do not expected that status to change.
