According to a report from Sport Bild journalists Christian Falk and Tobi Altschaffl (as captured by @iMiaSanMia), Bayern Munich board member for sport Max Eberl is planning another round of negotiations with Jamal Musiala and his camp:
Max Eberl is planning the second round of negotiations with Jamal Musiala before Christmas. The first meeting was back in September – both parties shared their ideas and goals. Now for the upcoming second meeting, Bayern want to present concrete numbers, which would be the first salary offer from the club to Musiala.
Falk added more context from his personal X account:
✅ Next Step from FC Bayern for a new contract with Jamal Musiala (21)
❇️ Max Eberl, Head of Sport, is planning the next meeting for the second round of contract negotiations with Musiala (21) before Christmas
❇️ The contract will be til 2030
Musiala’s stock continues to rise as he turned in another strong effort, highlighted by a goal, against Shakhtar Donetsk during Bayern Munich’s 5-1 victory.
Bayern Munich surely wants this to be wrapped up as soon as possible, while it will likely also present some relief to Musiala to be able to shift his focus entirely to football.
