The Hodgkin’s Lymphoma survivor shined on the hardwood after completing his cancer recovery and was the catalyst behind Washington State snapping a 15-year NCAA Tournament drought. Rice, as a third-year freshman, averaged 14.8 points, 3.1 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 1.6 steals per game and set the WSU freshman record in essentially every major statistical category. He is a major pickup for Indiana ahead of a critical season.
