Saturday will be the Rising Stars 250 Camp which has been one of the better early off-season events the past few years.
Past attendees who have gone on to play at major schools or commit to major schools include Brady Drogosh, Nick Marsh, Jacob Oden, Isaiah Marshall, Rayshaun Benny, Derrick Harmon, Cole Cabana and many more.
This year’s roster is once again very talented. Notable attendees include:
– Birmingham Groves offensive tackle Avery Gach who is a Top247 prospect and coveted by schools like Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State, Georgia, Alabama and more.
– Safety Elijah Dotson who was recently offered by Michigan State and had standing offers from Michigan, Kentucky and more.
– Detroit Cass Tech offensive lineman Khalief Canty was dominant at the event last year. He is one of the state’s top prospects in the 2026 class with several major offers already. Davison’s Ben Nichols is another big 2026 lineman with Power Five offers.
– Detroit Country Day offensive lineman Cade Wilhelmi is a junior with a couple of Power Five offers including Boston College and West Virginia.
– Clinton Township Chippewa Valley wide receiver Deshaun Lanier, a skilled junior who had a good season and also holds several Power Five offers. West Bloomfield’s Kamern Flowers is a speedy wideout with his own Power Five offers.
– Harper Woods wide receiver Dakota Guerrant and Detroit King quarterback Darryl Flemister, two of the top freshmen in the state. Both have Michigan and Michigan State offers already among others.
– East Lansing running back Jace Clarizio is an explosive junior who Michigan State, Iowa State and more have offered. Davison’s A.J. Hill is another FBS caliber back who had a good season.
– Orchard Lake St. Mary’s junior linebacker Charles White who recently received offers from Boston College, Michigan State and more. Sophomore right end Jack Janda is another St. Mary’s prospect with Power Five opportunities.
– Saline sophomore linebacker/EDGE Isaiah Harris who has a Louisville offer among others.
– River Rouge defensive lineman Jordin Farrow and offensive tackle Jaylen Pitts who both have FBS offers.
– Several of the state’s more intriguing 2025 offensive linemen will attend. Plymouth’s 6-foot-7 Lucas Barnes and Stoney Creek’s 6-foot-6 Spencer Beckeman are among them.
– Dexter running back Ronny Johnson comes in with FBS offers after a good junior season.
– Detroit Catholic Central Beau Jackson , St. Mary’sAxel Newell, and Mason’s Cason Carswell are some of the quarterbacks coming in that we will watch closely.
– Detroit King junior receiver David Calmese is a player event organizers are excited to have.
– The other Class of 2026 prospects who come in with offers and/or college interest are Port Huron Northern athlete Lincoln Watkins, Dexter linebacker Nathan Gersh, and Gibraltar Carlson running back Izaiah Wright.
