New Zealand number eight Ardie Savea has paid tribute to South Africa after their World Cup final victory over the All Blacks.
Savea was crowned men’s player of the year at the World Rugby Awards on Sunday.
Speaking to BBC Sport Wales at the event, Savea described South Africa as a “great nation”.
“To see how rugby unifies their country is amazing,” he added.
