This year’s Super Bowl will be a rematch of the Super Bowl of two years ago, when the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Philadelphia Eagles in a battle that went down to the wire.
While both teams look somewhat different this time around, the biggest difference in both rosters is star running back Saquon Barkley, who joined the Eagles in free agency this past offseason.
The trash-talking has started ahead of the big game, and Barkley gave a little warning to the two-time defending world champions.
“Whoever plays us next, good luck,” he said.

“Whoever plays us next, good luck.” 😳

Barkley had a season for the ages, as he became the ninth player in NFL history to run for 2,000 yards in a single season, and had he played in Week 18, he would’ve had a shot at breaking Eric Dickerson’s single-season record in that category.
He has continued his assault on the rest of the league during the playoffs with 205 rushing yards and two touchdowns versus the Los Angeles Rams in the divisional round, as well as 118 yards and three touchdowns in Sunday’s win over the Washington Commanders in the NFC Championship Game.
The Chiefs rely a lot on their defense to win games, and it will be up to Barkley to poke holes in that defense to give Philly a shot.
He may have to have one of the best games of his life in order to not only help Philly manufacture enough points but to also control time of possession and limit how much Patrick Mahomes has the football for Kansas City.
