- Alex Lozowski was instrumental for Saracens as they defeated Exeter on Sunday
- The centre looks to make his first England appearance in six years next month
Saracens boss Mark McCall insisted Alex Lozowski is the man for the big stage as he helped dismantle Exeter ahead of his return to England camp.
The centre will join England training on Monday for the first time in six years, fresh from an excellent display in which he showed the awareness to create Saracens’ fourth try, finished by Fergus Burke.
England head coach Steve Borthwick was in the crowd and with Henry Slade struggling to be fit for the autumn series, Lozowski made a strong argument for the No13 berth.
And McCall said the 31-year-old can rise to the occasion when England face the All Blacks on November 2.
McCall said: ‘Alex has always been one of those players who plays his best games in the biggest ones. He is desperate to try and get back into the international arena.’

Lozowski added: ‘It has been a long time coming. I am going to train hard and see where it gets me.’
Borthwick also saw Ben Earl score twice, Jamie George once and Tom Willis show explosiveness as Saracens made it a maximum 15 points from their first three games of the season.
