SC Freiburg desperately needs to win to continue its fight for a top-six finish, while Bayern Munich surely does not want to give up any of its lead over Bayer Leverkusen. Bayern Munich sits atop the table, but Leverkusen is coming in hot as well. Clearly, this is not a spot where Bayern Munich can afford to drop points.
Earlier this season, Bayern Munich held off SC Freiburg 2-0, but this time figures to be more difficult for the Bavarians.
