Alec Blair, the No. 38-ranked prospect in the class of 2025, announced his verbal commitment to Oklahoma on Tuesday, live on the 247Sports Channel.
Along with being a four-star prospect on the hardwood, he’s also considered one of the best center fielders in the country and reportedly a potential Major League Baseball prospect. As a result, he committed to the Sooners to play both baseball and basketball.
Because he has played baseball during the spring and summer months, he has been largely absent from the grassroots circuits in recent years and thus becoming an under-the-radar basketball prospect despite his obvious talent.
