Jeremiah Fears, a four-star guard ranked No. 37 in the national class of 2025, has committed to Oklahoma. Fears will enroll as a member of the 2024 class, joining Dayton Forsythe and Kuol Atak to become the third high school player to commit to head coach Porter Moser for next season.
Fears was previously committed to Illinois, before decommitting early this month. The Illini landed late commitments from both Kasparas Jakucionis, a guard from Lithuania, and Will Riley, who also reclassified up from 2025 to 2024.
Fears decommitment was largely driven by his desire to play college basketball next season, and be in a position where he could have the ball in his hands.
