After exorcising first-round demons with a feisty second-half showing against Grambling, Zach Edey and the top-seeded Boilermakers have to deal with Utah State and the Aggies’ frenetic pace on Sunday. Utah State is coming off is first NCAA Tournament victory in two decades thanks to 19 points from Isaac Johnson, including 12 straight after intermission at one point.
“We have to continue to be physical (against Purdue) like were with this TCU team and then take care of the ball,” Johnson said. “And, I guess, I can continue to shoot the ball and we’re confident in that.”
