Trying to narrow down the All NBA guards this season is almost impossible. Six spots, but at least 12 guys who deserve it. Lots of season left, but I would go SGA/Luka/Fox/Edwards/Steph/Halliburton. If you went Dame/Booker/Mitchell/Trae/Brunson/Maxey I wouldn’t argue – 10:51 PM

31.9 PPG
55.3 FG%
He’s averaged at least 30 PPG on 55% shooting from the field in each of the last two months. Only one other guard in NBA history has done this in consecutive months: Michael Jordan.

17-5 deficit in the first 6mins and it’s now four subs + Haliburton. This is a game where you need a jolt from someone — like Hield’s sharpshooting. – 8:25 PM

More on this storyline
“Who?” Haliburton deadpanned after the game. Of course, he knows exactly who Szczerbiak is after the former NBA player had called Haliburton a “wannabe fake All-Star” during a broadcast last season. Szczerbiak admitted on the air during Saturday’s game that “it wasn’t my finest hour” and he was “dead wrong.” -via New York Post / December 31, 2023
Szczerbiak said he also reiterated that mea culpa while speaking with Halliburton’s father after the game. “It went really well,” Szczerbiak said during the MSG post-game show. “I told him ‘My apologies, that was not my finest hour’ when I called his son a ‘wannabe fake All-Star.’ “He’s an absolute superstar. He showed it today, it was on display. John Haliburton was a great guy. He said ‘Don’t worry about it. We’ve all had moments like that, and we forgive you, my man.’” Pressed on his interaction with Szczerbiak after the game, Tyrese Haliburton called it an “extracurricular activity,” but admitted it contributed to his motivation. -via New York Post / December 31, 2023
Stefan Bondy: Tyrese Haliburton hits Szczerbiak with the “who,” then acknowledged he was motivated to beat the Knicks because of him -via Twitter @SBondyNYDN / December 30, 2023
