Aeneas Peebles transferred within the ACC, moving on from Duke after four seasons and landing at Virginia Tech for his final year of eligibility. The Hokies’ addition of an impact defensive lineman familiar with opponents should bode well heading into the 2024 season as a potential top-25 team. In 48 games played at Duke, Peebles recorded 87 total tackles, including 14.5 for loss with 8.5 sacks. The 6-foot-1, 286-pound defensive lineman also broke up three passes, forced two fumbles and recovered one fumble. Peebles offers Virginia Tech a versatile option up front.
