After a 27-25 loss to Alabama, the South Carolina Gamecocks had a record of 3-3 and weren’t exactly sure who they were and what the rest of the season had in store.
The response was simple, which was don’t lose again, and they haven’t. The loss to Alabama on Oct. 12 was the last time the Gamecocks were in the loss column.
The five-game winning streak has rocketed South Carolina up to No. 15 in the latest CFP rankings and has given it an outside chance to sneak into the College Football Playoff with an at-large bid.
