The Tennessee Titans didn’t look good at all last season.
Notably, neither did Derrick Henry.
While he was still one of the best running backs in the game, some feared that he might be approaching his decline.
The Titans let him go in free agency, and while he gauged plenty of interest around the league, he wound up taking less money to play for a Super Bowl contender.
Fast forward to today, and it seems like he’s turned back the clock, proving the doubters wrong and being as dominant as he was in his prime.
As pointed out by PFF on X, Henry has 11 runs of 20+ yards this season, which is more than all teams in the league.

Henry has been an unstoppable force out of the backfield, manhandling his opposition with ease and making the most of every tiny gap of space he gets to keep piling up yards after contact.
Henry is a one-man unit, and it takes a lot of manpower just to get him to the ground.
The Ravens already had one of the most efficient — if not the most efficient — running games in the league, and while they usually would take a committee approach, he’s done an outstanding job of holding down the fort on his own.
His presence there has also opened things up for Lamar Jackson, who’s once again having an MVP-caliber season.
If Henry keeps this up, he might end the season with an Offensive Player of the Year trophy in his cabinet.
