With pressure mounting on Nuri Sahin at Borussia Dortmund, former Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has recently been touted as a possible replacement.
However, local publication Ruhr Nachrichten, which follows the club closely, has now ruled out the possibility of ten Hag taking over.
The Black and Yellows aren’t exactly spoilt for choice when it comes to finding a replacement for Sahin.
Germany assistant coach Sandro Wagner and Roger Schmidt, most recently in charge of Benfica, have both been mentioned, but neither is thought to be interested.
Former Union Berlin coach Urs Fischer has also been linked with the job.
However, the question is whether Sahin will be sacked at all, with Tuesday’s Champions League clash with Bologna deciding his immediate future.
