GJ Kinne is set to add a former Power Four starting linebacker to his roster at Texas State.
Ex-Florida and Houston linebacker Mannie Nunnery is transferring to Texas State and is already now on campus, a source tells 247Sports.
The Texas native made three starts and posted 28 tackles at Florida last season after recording 46 tackles for Houston in 2022.
Nunnery garnered interest from several Power Four teams before picking the Bobcats, including taking visits to Arizona and Virginia.
Texas State is entering its second season under Kinne, who led the team to a school-record eight wins and its first-ever bowl appearance last season after winning four games or fewer each of the previous eight seasons.
