Big 12 football won’t look the same anymore with Texas and Oklahoma starting SEC play in 2024, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing.
Credit Big 12 commissioner Brett Yormark. He saw the tide of realignment coming in and did all he could to make his conference stronger in 2024 and beyond. Out went the Longhorns and the Sooners, but in came Arizona, Arizona State, Utah, Colorado, BYU, UCF, Cincinnati and Houston.
Now a 16-team conference, the Big 12 just unveiled in 2024 schedule, and there are quite a few intriguing matchups to look forward to.
