Notre Dame and head coach Marcus Freeman may have fallen short to Ohio State in the College Football Playoff national championship game, but Freeman has entrenched himself as one of the premier coaches in college football. In his third season at the helm, he led the Fighting Irish to a 14-2 record and qualified for the CFP despite a shocking loss to Northern Illinois early in the campaign. As a result, he’s been named the 2024 Paul “Bear,” Bryant Coach of the Year.
