Jeremiah Smith and the No. 8 Ohio State Buckeyes ran rampant over the No. 1 Oregon Ducks in College Football Playoff Quarterfinal at the Rose Bowl. Smith, a true freshman wide receiver from Miami Gardens, Florida, led the way for OSU with 187 receiving yards and two touchdowns, including a tone-setting 45-yard score on the third play from scrimmage en route to a 41-21 victory.
Smith’s 187 yards set an all-time record for a freshman in a CFP game, surpassing Clemson’s Justyn Ross’ 153 yards against Alabama in the 2019 National Championship. With that being said, how many MVPs from ‘The Granddaddy of them All’ since 2000 can you name in five minutes?
Good luck!
