A familiar face to AEW fans returned at the end of this week’s “Winter is Coming” themed episode of AEW Dynamite.
During the December 11 episode from the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Missouri, “The Glamour” Mariah May successfully defended her AEW Women’s World Championship in the main event.
May defeated Mina Shirakawa with Toni Storm’s “Storm Zero” finisher to pick up the win and retain her title.
Following the victory, as May was celebrating her big win, her theme music cut off and the old entrance tune for Toni Storm played. As the Kansas City crowd erupted, Toni Storm emerged at the top of the stage with her old look.
Storm stared down May in the ring, who looked shocked, as the 12/11 episode of the weekly two-hour AEW on TBS prime time program went off the air.
SHE MAY NO LONGER BE TIMELESS BUT THIS MOMENT CERTAINLY IS!
