Miami lost leading rusher Henry Parrish Jr. to Ole Miss via the transfer portal this offseason but may have upgraded at the position. Martinez racked up 1,185 rushing yards and nine touchdowns and averaged a robust 6.1 yards per carry as a sophomore at Oregon State last season. Martinez was at his best in space. He forced 57 missed tackles and picked up 744 yards after contact, averaging 3.82 yards after contact per rush. He’s an absolute unit at 6-feet, 232 pounds, and looks to lead the Hurricanes’ rushing attack this season.
