Homestead (Fla.) High Top 247 receiver Cortez Mills announced his commitment to Oklahoma. The 6-1, 170-pounder, who is ranked as the No. 196 overall player in the class of 2025, chose the Sooners over Clemson, Miami, Florida, Nebraska, LSU, and many others.
It wasn’t an easy decision, but it was the right one for the talented pass catcher. Mills connected well with receivers coach Emmett Jones and head coach Brent Venables.
In the end, the official visit put the Sooners over the top, but the groundwork was truly laid months ago.
