Highlan Home (Ala.) High Top247 edge CJ May is ready to announce his commitment. The 6-4, 225-pounder from the class of 2025 has narrowed his focus to four finalists and knows where he’ll play his college ball.
On Saturday, July 13, May will announce his commitment live on the 247Sports YouTube channel at 2:30 pm ET / 1:30 pm CT. The finalists include Auburn, Louisville, Syracuse, and Washington.
As of today, the 247Sports Crystal Ball is split between Louisville and Ole Miss.
247Sports ranks May as the No. 146 overall player in the country, No. 17 edge in the nation, and No. 12 talent in the state of Alabama.
As a junior, May put together a terrific season. He totaled 54 tackles, 10 for a loss, and 7.5 sacks. He also had two fumble recoveries and two forced fumbles. May also snagged an interception and found the end zone as well.

May was once committed to Notre Dame. He decommitted and opened up his process back on February 4. This is expected to be his second and final decision ahead of early enrollment in January.
