Gainesville (Ga.) High Top247 offensive tackle Alex Payne has committed to USC. The longtime North Carolina commit has decided to move on from the Tar Heels and his flipping to the Trojans following a game-changer of a visit to Los Angeles this past weekend.
Ahead of his public announcement, Payne shared some thoughts on his decision to be a Trojan.
“The education aspect of a USC degree,” said Payne as to why he flipped from North Carolina to USC. “The USC football legacy speaks for itself and to be asked to become a part of that is huge to me. So many opportunities surround the campus outside of football.”
