Oklahoma has 247Sports No. 5 ranked recruiting class early in the 2025 cycle, and a star-studded junior day over the weekend could ultimately see the Sooners add to it as Brent Venables and his staff hosted many of their favorite targets
The returns coming into to 247Sports are strong.

OU is battling the likes of Notre Dame and Nebraska among others for the coveted second-level defender. “I really like how Coach Venables has his program set up. One thing that catches my eye is their culture and they are moving to the SEC. Coach (Zac) Alley their new defensive coordinator/linebacker coach seems to utilize the linebackers very well and develop them. How Coach V has the S.O.U.L Mission and how he’s incorporated that into what OU is about.”
