According to a report from Bild (as captured by @iMiaSanMia), Bayern Munich center-back Dayot Upamecano and central midfielder Leon Goretzka missed training on Thursday:
Dayot Upamecano and Leon Goretzka missed today’s training. When asked by BILD, Bayern did not want to comment on the reason for their absence. It’s therefore unclear whether the duo will be available against Mainz on Saturday.
Aleksandar Pavlović and Konrad Laimer could provide coverage for Bayern Munich in the midfielder, while Eric Dier would seemingly be the solution at center-back should Upamecano not be able to play.
Bear in mind, it could have just been a load management day for the duo, but we will be watching this situation closely…
Ito gets treatment at Säbener Straße
Bayern Munich defender Hiroki Ito has been injured all season, but did make an appearance at Säbener Straße to get treatment from the club’s physio team:
