Aside of the good news that Hiroki Itō has returned to working out at Säbener Straße, Bayern Munich is back in the swing of things with some players back in team training after long injury spells.
Let’s dig in…
Many happy returns
Per FCBayern.com, the training pitch was more crowded than at any time in recent months:
Captain Manuel Neuer (after rib fracture), Kingsley Coman (after muscle strain), Josip Stanišić (after knee ligament tear) and Serge Gnabry (after knee problems), who missed the Leipzig game due to injury, all completed the session with the team.
Meanwhile, Hiroki Ito (metatarsal fracture) and João Palhinha (muscle strain) worked individually on the training pitch. Sacha Boey (ankle injury) was also absent from team training.
, guys!
And now off you go to the first training session for 2025!
Neuer looks like he will be ready to go next week vs. Borussia Mönchengladbach:
Tarek Buchmann was also back in the mix:
