In what has become a sad trend, Bayern Munich right-back Sacha Boey is hurt…again. This time, Boey picked up an ankle injury in training and will be out for “the time being” per FCBayern.com:
FC Bayern will be without Sacha Boey for the time being after the defender suffered an ankle ligament injury in training.
Boey’s entire Bayern Munich career feels like it has been spent on the injured list…and it kind of has. Since joining the team last January, Boey has missed 26 games and 131 days of action so far.
The Frenchmen simply has no luck.
Better news
Bayern Munich midfielder João Palhinha and winger Serge Gnabry both got in a work out on the ball this morning per FCBayern.com:
João Palhinha and Serge Gnabry trained with the ball at their feet on Tuesday morning for the first time since their injuries. Palhinha has been out since suffering an adductor injury on international duty with Portugal in November, while Gnabry has been struggling with a knee issue of late. The pair have now taken the next step towards their comeback.
More progress for other players
Harry Kane, Alphonso Davies, Josip Stanišić, and Tarek Buchmann (not referenced) took part in the warm-ups:
Kane and Davies took part in the team training:
Kane and Davies (in a slightly more measured way) complete the session with the team. Stanisic and Buchmann continue training individually on the adjacent pitch.
