Salahdine Parnasse is staying put in KSW.
Parnasse is currently the KSW lightweight and featherweight champion, and on Friday, the Polish promotion announced their champ-champ is staying in Europe for the foreseeable future, having signed a new multi-fight contract with KSW.
Widely considered to be one of the best talents currently competing outside of the major MMA promotions, many expected Parnasse to make the jump to either UFC or PFL, however, KSW was able to retain the services of their 26-year-old phenom. There are no details on his contract at this time.
The French fighter joined KSW in 2017 and has amassed a 10-2 record in the promotion. He won the KSW featherweight title in 2018, avenging his first career loss, and then won an interim lightweight title in 2022, before eventually being promoted to undisputed champion when Marian Ziolkowski suffered an injury minutes before their planned title fight at KSW 83.
At the end of 2023, Parnasse attempted to become the first three-division champion in MMA history when he challenged Adrian Bartosinski for the welterweight title, but lost the bout via decision. Parnasse rebounded from that loss earlier this year with a first-round knockout of Valeriu Mircea in a lightweight title defense.
