Erling Haaland has extended his stunning scoring record against West Ham.
The Manchester City striker scored twice in his side’s 4-1 thrashing of the Hammers on Saturday.
Haaland found the net either side of half-time after a Vladimir Coufal own-goal had opened the scoring.
Phil Foden later added a fourth for the hosts at the Etihad Stadium, before Niclas Fullkrug scored a late consolation for the hosts in a game that was not as one-sided as it sounded, with West Ham wasting a host of chances to score.
Haaland’s goals are sure to leave the Hammers sick of the sight of the Norwegian.
He has now scored nine goals in six Premier League meetings with the east London club.
It follows a hat-trick in the reverse fixture back in August at the London Stadium.
As a result, West Ham are also now the team Haaland has scored the most goals against in the Premier League.
Wolves had previously been his favourite opponent prior to this weekend, having managed eight goals against the Black Country club.
Meanwhile, the 24-year-old has also scored six times against both Crystal Palace and Manchester United.
Haaland’s latest strikes helped secure a second consecutive win for Pep Guardiola’s side.
It is the first time since October that City have won back-to-back Premier League matches.
The champions previously beat Leicester 2-0 last weekend after a run of one win in their last 13 matches across all competitions.
City remain sixth in the table, but have gained two points on fourth placed Chelsea after they could only draw 1-1 with Crystal Palace.
As for Haaland, he has boosted his chances of winning the Premier League golden boot.
His brace takes him to 16 goals in 20 league appearances this term, now just one behind Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah.
Across all competitions, meanwhile, Haaland has 21 strikes in 27 matches.
