Though unusual-looking, the Vessel Golf Club organizer flawlessly executes its mission. Your irons will be separated and secured in your Vessel V Pro bag. You may not need this in your bag but you should want it.

Vessel makes amazing golf bags. I’ve slung my sticks around in a Player IV Stand bag for the past year or so and I am a firm believer in Vessel bags.
My Vessel bag is comfortable to carry or push, holds plenty of gear and receives far more compliments than my golf swing. Yes, a Vessel golf bag will run you more money than some of its competitors. However, the extra money you spend gets you a bag with superior quality and luxury.
There is a reason why the Vessel V Pro was ranked as the Best Premium Carry Bag of 2025.
Going Pro
As I said, I used a Vessel Player IV stand bag for numerous rounds last year. When Vessel announced the new Player V bags in late 2024, I had to check them out.
This time, I went with the Player V Pro.
The jump from Player to Player Pro seemed significant, both in size and features. As it turned out, it was not as big a change as I expected. I equate it to switching from a 3-Series to a 5-Series BMW. There are differences but the brand is the same.
In reality, the “Pro” version of the Vessel V is not much larger. It is only 0.8 pounds heavier and about an inch larger in any dimension than the non-Pro bag.
The only size issue I had with moving to the Vessel V Pro was that the top strap on my Clicgear 4.0 was too short to fit around the Vessel V Pro top. This is a common issue that the Clicgear 4.0 has with larger bags.
Once I purchased a longer strap for the push cart, the Vessel V Pro quickly became the choice for pushing around.
Can the best be even better?
I understand why the Vessel V Pro won Best Premium Carry Bag honors. Everything is high quality.
The “Tour-Grade Synthetic Leather” is an amazing material. My Vessel IV Stand bag is white and it cleans up so well that it still looks new after scores of sometimes muddy rounds.
The Vessel V Pro has so many pockets! Some are magnetic closure and one even locks (lock included). The insulated pocket is actually large enough to hold beverages and has drain holes at the bottom.
Initially, I was not a fan of Vessel’s flip-out bottle holders but I quickly changed my mind once I realized how nice it was to fold them closed when not in use.
One of my favorite features is that the straps detach so they don’t get in the way when riding or pushing.
Outside of the cost (and a lack of purple color), I couldn’t think of anything else I wanted in a stand bag.
And then Vessel sent me an email about their new Club Organizer.
Adding the Vessel Club Organizer
I am a diehard 14-way top guy. I know it adds weight but, when done correctly, there is no better way to organize the golf bag.
For me, if I know where a club is in the bag, I don’t need to spend time looking for it. This allows me to focus my often limited attention on the shot at hand.
Like my Player IV bag, my Player V Pro has a 14-way top and never once did I think Vessel needed to improve on the design of the top. It works really well.
Vessel had other ideas.

The new Vessel Club Organizer snaps onto the top of the Vessel V Pro Stand bag (and Lux Pro Cart bag), lifting the irons and wedges above the surface of the bag. Each club then rests in an individual groove, effectively separating them from each other.
Additionally, there is a magnet at the base of the grooves to secure the irons in place during transport.
Your woods and putter will sit above the irons in their usual bag slots, their heads residing above the irons, even in their new elevated position.
Apex-level organization
Assembling and attaching the Vessel Club Organizer requires minimal effort. If you’ve ever built a car out of Legos, you are overqualified for the Club Organizer assembly job.
I was super-skeptical when I first looked at the new club scaffold atop the bag. It looks odd, especially without clubs.
Once I filled the bag with clubs, I gained a better understanding of what Vessel was going for.
If you are an everything-in-its-place kind of person, you will love the organization the Club Organizer provides. Once all the clubs were slotted in, my bag became an organizational paradise.
Those of you who like to “protect your investment” with iron covers should consider what Vessel is offering as a less controversial protection option.
Sure, there are some amazing iron cover options out there, but wouldn’t it be nice to protect your clubs from damage while maintaining your self-respect?
The Vessel Club Organizer is very cool but more of a want than a need.
You’ve invested $469 in a Vessel V Pro Stand bag. Do you need to spend another $89 on the Club Organizer? If the word is “need”, I would say the Club Organizer is not needed. The Vessel V Pro Stand bag does a fine job of organizing clubs, especially if you went with the 14-way top.
If you went with the seven-way top, and wish you went with the14-way, the Club Organizer will be a welcome addition and far cheaper than a new bag.
The best plan of action is to try your new Vessel bag out a few times before you make the decision. If you want to improve your club organization and protect your clubs without iron covers, get the Vessel Club Organizer.
I’ve not tried the version that fits in the Lux Pro Cart bag but that Club Organizer looks like it may work even better than the one for the Player V Pro.
That’s probably the reason why it is currently sold out.
