Armondo Blount was on flip watch entering Signing Day, as his commitment to Florida State appeared to be frail. Not long after Crystal Ball predictions pointed toward a move in Miami’s direction, Blount made things official in pledging to the Hurricanes. He will not have to travel far to play for the Hurricanes after transferring to Miami (Fla.) Central for the 2023 season, where he racked up 58 tackles, 19 tackles for loss, 11 sacks, four forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries. He helped guide the Rockets to the region finals in the 2M classification.
