Steve Sarkisian, AJ Milwee, and the rest of the Texas staff have their man under center for the class of 2026 in five-star prospect Dia Bell. The Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) American Heritage signal caller chose the Longhorns over LSU, Ohio State, Florida State and many others on Monday afternoon, in what’s another significant recruiting win for Texas.
Since the Sarkisian era began, the Longhorns have been on a tear recruiting the quarterback position. Sark and Co. landed Quinn Ewers out of the Transfer Portal in 2022, the No. 1 overall player in Arch Manning in 2023, Trey Owens — who put on a show at the Orange-White Game this spring — in 2024, and have commitments from Elite 11 Finalist KJ Lacey in ’25 and now Dia Bell in ’26.
